In any point of tension—no matter what the time factor may be—energy is being generated, held for future use, and focussed in such a manner or condition that its force can be directed wherever needed and whenever called for. This is necessarily a statement hard to understand. A point of tension is, symbolically, a storehouse of power. Today the energies which will be uniquely distinctive of the Kingdom of God are gathering momentumand assuming direction through the agency of the Masters of the Wisdom, in cooperation with the will of Christ.

How will artificial intelligence be used in service to the whole? Will it have a liberating or imprisoning effect on human consciousness? What are the social challenges and moral dilemmas that will increasingly unfold in this new world? After a career as a Programmer and Systems Software analyst, Evert Boer ponders on the tension between the unfolding soul of humanity and the age of the intelligent machine. |

Afternoon Session – Everyone welcome
A new type of mystic is coming to be recognised; he differs from the mystics of the past (except in a few outstanding instances) by his practical interest in current world affairs and not in religious and church matters only; he is distinguished by his lack of interest in his own personal development, by his ability to see God immanent in all faiths and not just in his own particular brand of religious belief, and also by his capacity to live his life in the light of the divine Presence. All mystics have been able to do this to a greater or less degree, but he differs from those in the past in that he is able clearly to indicate to others the techniques of the Path; he combines both head and heart, intelligence and feeling, plus an intuitive perception, hitherto lacking. The clear cold light of the Spiritual Triad now illumines the way of the modern mystic, and not simply the light of the soul, and this will be increasingly the case.

The Wesak Festival – Taurus full moon meditation The aspiration of Taurus is one pointed concentration and the focusing of the light of the personality to a point of tension which then rushes forward to the soul. The new group of world servers are concentrators of light in humanity, they are the focused thinkers creating the tension which evokes new light for humanity to absorb. The desire aspect of Taurus, a sign which governs the NGWS, is transmuted into aspiration for the betterment of humankind and prompted by love of the whole. |
